Weeeeeee!

thanks to Sque I'm able to post this now!!!

Okay What's with the little boogie and the funky music

CONNOR'S USING THE POTTY!!!!!
{everyone together now YAY!!!!}

I'm so excited! It's like one day he just woke up and decided "yeah I can do this" and not just number one either! Uh uh not my boy! Both numbers!!! {clapping hands}
sure he still has the occasional accident every so often... but he's getting there! and he's doing it all on his own.

And mommy only has one bum to change now ( I'm sure Megan would use the potty if I let her but I don't want to be fishing out wet baby's all day haha) so I'm sure you'll all agree with me that this is cause for celebration! Last night we went out to dinner to celebrate. Connor got to choose the restaurant. First he said "the pwace with the wanterns" ( The Mandarin) but I suggested he choose somewhere else that's not so expensive. So he chose Boston Pizza. Worked for me. So we had a great dinner and both kids behaved so well that it was like they weren't even there! He got a balloon and he was happy.

Mommy and daddy are happy too!

okay now everyone get up and dance with me! I know you want too!

Take a look

I just love these!

Feast Thirty-Seven

Appetizer - Name something that makes you scream.
I don't like to just pick one thing! My children, Rollercoasters, a "Charlie horse" in my calf, my children...

Soup - Who is a musician you enjoy listening to when you want to relax?
I can't name a musician, but the type of music I listen to is classical, instrumental, nature sounds played along with the piano... That kind of thing.

Salad - What was the last book you purchased?
Well since I most get my books that I read from my MIL.. It's been a long time since I personally purchased one. The last one I bought I think was the Harry Potter series.

Main Course
- If you could live one day as any historical figure, who would it be, and what would you do?
Annie Sullivan ( Helen Kellers teacher) I would definitely need more then one day. But I would love to teach the deaf the blind and the mute how to communicate and adapt in the world they are living in.

Dessert
- Tell about a time when you were lost. Where did you end up? How long did it take you to get back to where you were going?
I was three years old, I persuaded a friend to take our bikes for a ride to the corner store. My mom had turned around for one second to look after my baby brother, and off I went. Down the street around the corner and down the other street to the Beckers Convience Store. I don't know how long I was gone, or that I was even lost really, I think my mom or dad found me.

Brotherly love

So Connor thought Megan needed a new hairstyle. He got the milk and poured it on, then with a little this and that voila!!

As you can see Megan's not so impressed by her brother wanting to get close while she's having her bottle anymore!

Weekend Update

Well sorry this won't be nearly as clever as SNL's weekend update but anyways....

I'm feeling a bit better. I'm able to breath without the help of medication, and it's a good thing, because I've run out of Kleenex all 6 boxes of them. But of course the inevitable happened and now the kids are sick too. Connor was up all night with a sore ear/nose and I didn't get any sleep. Megan slept fine but was really cranky for her Daddy today. I went to a baby shower. Not that I really felt up to going out, but I went. Sat in my corner ate some yummy food and came home.
My really big news is that the past two days Connor's been using the POTTY!!! {everyone together now} HOORAY!!! Two complete days dryness!!!! and of only having to change one childs bum. Yeah I'm a happy mommy! We did have a pretty yucky accident today, but I'm sure my anger got across and he'll think twice before he does it again. After almost 4 years of changing bums every single day I'm glad to have that cut in half and only have the one to change.
I got a new baby cousin the other day Emma. She was 7lbs 6oz and is cute as a button. I got to see her the other day briefly. Surprisingly when I held her I didn't get that "aawwww I want one" feeling. Must be all the lack of sleep I've been getting. Speaking of which. I'm really tired and I've got to get to bed.

Goodnight

What happend?

I was changing some stuff like I always do and I hit the wrong button? My archives were getting kind of long starting in 2003 and I don't like to scroll through that much? Or maybe I read Brighton's blog today and started thinking that I didn't know how much junk I had in my blog and I'm being paranoid? Whatever the case may be. I'm still here :) I'd never leave blogland. I love it just way to much!

Everything old is new again.

Enough said?
