Whew!

The feel like temp outside is 95F already and it's only 10:30 in the morning. This is summer in Southern Ontario alright, and later today you can bet your buttons on a nice fancy Thunderstorm. Just like yesterday a fantastic Thunderstorm. The lightning was just incredible. I got a lot of it on video too, since we were driving home in it from our friends house.

I'm going to try and upload that here, but since my computer is pretty much standing on it's last two toe nails let alone feet I'm not entirely certain it's going to work.

Updated: 3:04pm and it's 106F outside! Still working on those videos.

16 YEARS!

Today Adam and I celebrate our 16th anniversary together. How is that even possible? Earlier this summer we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary too. WOW... loooong time.. well it sounds like a long time to me. I have now been with Adam longer then I was without him. We celebrated by going out for dinner :)

Summer Time

This summer is going by so quickly, here we are the third of August already. It's been a busy fun summer. I had a wonderful time in Minnesota, and the kids had fun up North camping. Depeche Mode was amazing, and I hope that tomorrow we are going to go see Chris Isaak. We've seen him twice before and really enjoy his music. This time it's a family event so the kids will be coming with us, the only problem is that it's suppose to rain! It may be summer but it certainly is hit and miss when it comes to the weather.

Last Thursday we had a fun day at the beach. The lake was a little chilly but fun anyway. The kids loved it. They've never really been to the beach. The last time Connor was at the beach he was only a little over 1 years old. Megan has never been to the beach. I don't think I'm ever going to get all the sand out of her suit. It was a really fun day though. Well until on the way home I got my very first speeding ticket. Ugh I was so pissed off. I had just passed a van with a boat that was really annoying me, and sure enough just as I sped up to get away from him, there was the cop coming at me. He let me off easy with a $40.00 ticket. Grrrr.
