Happy Anniversary!!

It was the summer of 1991. I was 13 years old and camping with my grandparents like we do every summer. My friend Vicki and I were walking around when we see this guy. He had blonde hair and was wearing a black Cure T-shirt, he had a yellow walkman in his hand. We stop to talk to him. Because when you're 13 and you see a cute guy that's just what you do. "Whacha listen'n to"? We ask. Some spider song is all I remember. We hung out the rest of the day. He had told me he was 18 ( when really he didn't didn't turn 18 until that fall) I never saw or heard from him again.

1993 two years later. I was now 15 and camping just like every summer before. My younger cousins were there too. It was hot out that August. We spent a lot of our time swimming and just hanging out in the shade. It was dinner time and my grandmother asked me to go get the kids from the clubhouse. As I am walking down the road, I see this guy walking towards me. He had long blonde hair and he was wearing black and white checked shorts with a black Cure T-shirt(not the same one mind you) and carrying a yellow walkman! I think to myself. I know this guy! I know I know this guy! What the heck is his name. I look down and walk past quickly.

He was quite far away from me. So I get to the kids and bring them all in for supper. Later my cousin says to me. "Hey Jen" "Adam said to say hi". ADAM!!! That's it! After dinner I try and make myself look as cute as I can and off I go walking. I see him again and this time he's talking with my cousin Adam. aka-Little Adam- I go up and say hi and we start talking. Little Adam thinks this guy is cool cause he's got some neat black shades and a walkman. Eventually we find ourselves talking to this kid Duane. We were sitting on the clubhouse steps. We have a conversation about what kind of sauce people like on their submarine sandwiches. Which is best? Oil or Mayo. We agreed we like them both. We find our way to the Gazebo. We start talking about shoes and shoe sizes and stuff. I know dorks! What else is there to do in a campground! Then he left again!

So a few days pass, and I wake up one morning and look out at the lake. I see him. Out on the bench by the lake. I hurry to get showered and dressed and go out to see him. His dad dropped him off for the day. We spent the afternoon together with Little Adam at our side the.whole.time. We end up back at the Gazebo. What does he pull out of his backpack? Pair of leather half boots, remember those! Here is what mine looked like(black)! I think I just threw them away this past winter.

Eventually we end up at "third lake" (aka.. the make out lake) I know what you're thinking but stop that! There's children around. We have a grass fight and talk about frogs or something dumb, with my cousin who was 10 I think at the time. That night Adam had to leave. This time, we exchanged phone numbers. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and said "see ya later kid". I laugh and tell him I am not a kid. I wasn't leaving for home for another week or two.
He told me to call him when I got home. So that's what I did. We talked for hours and hours. At some point in the conversation he officially "asked me out" Obviously I said yes. This was August 8th 1993. We managed to survive the long distance relationship with him away at college and me still in high school.

I'm sure Adam's dad can tell you about the huge phone bills we must have created! There was no email, internet, IM's. We wrote good old fashioned "snail mail" letters. And spoke on the phone when we could. He would come home on the weekends and usually spend the entire time at my house.

The years went by and it's 1996 already. We are on a trip to Panama City Beach with his mom and dad. That's where we got engaged. On the beach with the fake diamond ring that turned my finger green! When we finally had enough money he bought me a small, but real diamond.

Leap forward 3 more years. It's June 1999 and we are now getting ready for our wedding. We did all the planning ourselves with the help of some friends and family it all came together. June 26th was the hottest day of the year. It had to be 120F. Go figure I had a long sleeved dress. (I bought the dress before we set an actual date) Our wedding was beautiful. It was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Our only regret is that we didn't have the ceremony videotaped.

So here we are 6 years later. We have two beautiful children. We have had some pretty bad times and a lot of good times. There have been times where we thought our marriage wasn't going to last, there have been times where things just seemed to be perfect!

So what are we doing for our anniversary? We're gone camping! Right now we are spending a week at the campground where we met. Where we always go. every.year.
We are fishing, and playing at the park, we're swimming in the pool and at the "man made" beach. We're having campfires at night and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We're out for ice cream and gone for walks. We're playing hide and go seek and board games with the kids.

Tonight we're gone out for dinner at a restaurant we said we always wanted to go to just the two of us while my mom watches the kids. We are fighting the mosquitos and braving the sun. If it's raining we are out playing in the puddles. We are spending time as a family. And teaching our kids all about camping. Even though we'll be in a cabin and not the tent Adam got for his first Father's Day present! Aahhaha.. Hope you're all having a wonderful week. We'll be back on July 1st! Canada Day! Maybe we'll see some fireworks!

*Special thanks to Kate for posting this for me. Unfortunately I don't have a laptop or ANY computer access until I get back. How will I ever survive? ** See ya on Friday!

We're off!

In about one hour we are out of here! Turns out we won't have to worry about packing the car afterall. My Grandparents have decided to come and we can put as much as we need in the trailer! WHEW!! cause I seriously don't think we would have fit it all in the car.

I went to bingo this morning and won $30.00 Canadian and $25.00 American! The american is more exciting since it's about 35-40 Canadian, however we are going camping in the states so we'll need it for that!

Okay everyone Have a great week and check back here Sunday for a special post. Thanks again Kate :)

I should be

Cleaning the kitchen
Putting child #1 to bed
Washing the kitchen floor
Finishing packing
Cleaning out the fridge of anything that will go bad in 1 week
Putting child #1 to bed
Putting ice on my back
Picking up all the toys laying around

What am I doing? Updating my side bar... under Places To Go

One more sleep

It's so difficult for a child to wrap their little heads around time. We're going camping for a week tomorrow. For the past couple nights Connor keeps asking if we're going now. I tell him no you have to sleep in your bed two more times. As I tucked him in last night I told him sleep now, then tomorrow sleep again, then when you wake up we go. He wakes up this morning and says lets go live in the cabin now. Gah!

So all day yesterday and all day today have been spent packing. We have a cabin, and the only thing in there is kitchen supplies, fridge stove, pots pans utensils. We need to bring everything else. Clothes, food, sheets, towels, blankets... you get the idea. And don't forget a playpen a stroller, toys and movies! Did I mention we do not own a van? No we have a 4 door cavalier. Do you know how small one of those are? No?? well click here. That isn't a picture of MY car but it's the same as mine.

Ten on Tuesday

10 Things That Annoy You About Work!

My "job" is MOM.. here are my ten

1.
When the kids don't eat nicely ( sitting and eating instead of running around crying)
2. When they are cranky and don't listen to a thing I say
3. When I tell them no and they do it anyway
4. When Connor gets "rowdy" and ends up hurting his sister or someone else
5. When I keep taking Megan off whatever it is she's climbed and she just gets right back on
6. I don't get paid
7. I don't get time off
8. Leaving the house requires more then throwing on your shoes and you're out the door.
9. Snowsuits and boots in the winter
10. Puke in the middle of the night

Because I really do enjoy being a mom here are ten things I love about my work:

1.
Kisses and hugs at any time
2. Snuggling up and reading stories
3. The look on my kids faces when at the circus
4. Comforting them when they are scared
5. The sound of laughter every day
6. Watching as they take their first steps or say their first word
7. Being told you're loved way up to the moon
8. Rocking them to sleep
9. Holding them in my arms while they sleep

So far.

So far so good on the better day. Even though I didn't want to wake up this morning I did get up with the kids. Who made this morning a little easier. I fed them apples and bananas for breakfast and we cuddled and watched tv together. I cut Adam's hair before he went to the dentist. It's a good day because I wasn't the one who had to go!

We are going to go to a family barbeque for Father's Day which is tomorrow. So that should be fun. It's not hot out and it's not cold out. It looks like it's going to be a nice day.

Have a Great Weekend everyone :)

Just a bad day!

My day keeps getting more and more "BAD" First this morning we woke up and for some reason Mommy was the only one who didn't have the urge to scream. Connor was cranky Megan was cranky Adam was yup you guessed it... Cranky. There was much yelling, much crying, and much well crankiness going on. I'm sorry I didn't get to play along with Katy over at Stemily's and get a picture of me first thing in the morning. Let me just tell you it's not very pretty anyway. But I jumped in the shower as fast as I could. By the time I was out, things seemed to have settled down a bit. So it was off to do some grocery shopping. We have a little more food in the freezer today. Exactly 6 days worth of dinners. Since today was payday! ( We're going camping next weekend, and so we'll buy some groceries in the US since we're not allowed to bring meat and fruit over the border) So we did okay with going to the bank, we went and paid off the car (whew) then we went to Wal Mart. Got some diapers, some Goodnights.. cause oh yes. the bad is there too. Connor's wet the bed two nights in a row. He was doing so good. Went a whole week without any accidents. So we figured we better get something but not pull ups because if we didn't then the new matress pad that cost $40.00 was just going to get ruined from washing it so much. We got some of the groceries that are cheaper there. Then we went to Giant Tiger to get some more cheap groceries and a Father's Day present for my dad. We also were starving by that time so had some McDonalds for lunch. Then we went to the actual grocery store. Picked up a few more things came home. Then I had to babysit my baby cousin who is 4 months old and REALLY knows how to cry :) I didn't mind though I only had to feed her, change her and send her home ;) Then all was quiet. Until.. Megan was playing in Connor's room. All by herself. Nicely. Then all of a sudden CRASH! I jump a mile and race to the room. Are you okay? She was fine. What happened!?!?! Well I'll tell you. For some very odd reason Connor's ceiling light fixture fell! Yes that's right. It's been up there for a good 10 years and all of a sudden it falls.?? What is that? This is the ceiling. The glass part is what fell ( it's one of those looks like a boob kind of lights) `
I thank God that Megan was okay.. she was just about a foot from where it landed! So we cleaned that up. Made dinner and now Connor is gone to the Carnival with my mom. Adam is at work. I was cleaning the kitchen when I had to put a few things away. I turn around and what do I find? One very BAD little girl! She has the phone in her hand which she climbed up onto the couch to get. She has a bottle of baby powder in the other. Why are there spots all over this picture? I think it's because the flash caught all the dust particles in the air from the powder. See behind her there the couch? Lovely eh? Yeah it's powder thankfully it wasn't the lotion. I'm SO hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Show & Tell

Something Bad~ is today's subject for Show & Tell

Here is my three things I consider to be bad right now. First we have this wall.
It's my laundry/ shower room. This paper has been ripped now for about 2 years. I've lived in this apartment for 7 years and it's the only room I have not touched. YET!

Second we have this number $-413.37 ( notice the minus) that is the balance of my bank account right now. Yes I won some money at bingo ( which my mom paid for me to go) but that all went to the car payment remember? Actually the bad part really is that this is what our bank account looks like almost every two weeks.

And last but not least we have this.
It's my freezer and it's contents. Part of that minus number up there comes from buying the salmon for tonights dinner. The frozen yogurt has been there for about 2 weeks now and the veggies at least 4 weeks. We've been trying to eat with my mom as much as possible ;) We've had Kraft dinner now for 3 days in a row for lunch and tonight we had lasagna ( another part of the minus)

So there you have it. I was also thinking of posting a picture of my weight but do you REALLY think I would let you all know that number? Pfft.. I think not. I was also going to post a picture of my kids... but we all know kids are bad from time to time. Then I was going to post a picture of me smoking. My worst bad habit.. But I decided against it..

Ah what the hay.. here's the kids during one of "those" moments sometimes they just are bad! This picture was taken right after I noticed Connor's face and just before he threw his sister to the floor so she could "slide" on the papers.

Hope you have a HAPPY FRIDAY!

Bored

Yup.. I'm bored. I have nothing to do. I have already cleaned Connor's room. The kitchen isn't all that messy, it's too early to make dinner, it's cold and rainy out, the gardening is done, the lawn doesn't need to be watered cause it's rainy I said that already. Megan is napping and Connor is watching Blues Clues. Adam's at work. I could have went to bingo, but I need the money I won to pay for my car. I'm bored.

What do you do when you're bored?

15 months!

Megan is 15 months old today! Can you believe it? I sure can't. Some of you may remember my old blog ( the one that was dated back to December 2002) Well I do haha.. I feel like it was just last week that I was bringing my baby girl home. And now here she is all 23 and a half pounds of her! She's got 6 teeth, she walks, runs, laughs, she picks on her big brother and gives the best little hugs and kisses. And I know that any day now she's going to start talking. So far she only says mama and da da.. But it's coming I know it. And I'm going to need a HUGE bottle of tylenol cause I'm going to have two of them talking my ears off everyday. Why is 15 months such a big deal to me? Well because it's the time where I put the kids hand and feet prints in their baby book. So even if 15 months isn't a big deal to you it is to me :)

Today has been a great day. This morning the kids let me wake up nice and slow. Finish a good cup of coffee while they quietly ate breakfast and watched some TV. Then when Adam woke up we went with my mom to Costco. I bought a lasagna and Adam got the Jaws DVD. My mom bought one of those portable dvd player things that goes in the car. So when we go to Michigan in July or August we'll have movies for the kids to watch :) YAY! Mom also bought us lunch. Then we went grocery shopping. Then mom and I went to ... yup you guessed it BINGO :) and I won $500.00 YAY!! I must have a horse shoe up my butt or something eh? I'm just happy because that's two hundred more dollars I get to put towards the car. Yeah that's right. I still haven't paid off that flipping $844.00 bill. So far all of it's been paid with bingo winnings. heh!

So now it's 8:13pm. Connor is quietly drawing pictures with his crayola magic markers and Megan is asleep. The horrible heat if finally gone and it's a beautiful 23(C) 73(F) outside. We had some much needed rain and it's finally a beautiful summer night. I think I'm going to get myself a nice cold glass of Nestle Pure Life Orange Splash Naturally Flavoured Water Ooohhhh so yummy! and sit on the porch and watch the sun set.

I hope you are all having as great of a day as I am!

Frustrating

Don't worry... I'm not going to leave my blog this way. I'm just really liking it, and although I haven't figured out HOW YET!! I'm trying to make the main part "blurred" if you know what I mean. So you can still see the background, but can also easily read the words. Anyone know how to do this and willing to share :) I'd greatly appreciate it. As my frustrations are rising.

Okay I survived

The meeting went well. We walked so as to "time ourselves" to see how long it takes to get to the school. You'd think that since I went to this school for J/K and Gr. 3... That I should already know this but hey! That was a long time ago. So we walked in the 90 something degree weather. Anyways..

We arrive and find our way to the library. Where we are greeted by Connors new teacher and the principal. Connors teacher is different then the one we met at registration ( the other one is now expecting a baby and is on leave due to Fifth's Disease going through the school!) Lovely ain't it. So we have a new teacher. A very nice mid twenties early early thirties well dressed teacher. I look around at all the parents. My first observation is that Adam and I seem to be the youngest parents. There were a few mom's that by looking at them I knew we might just get along, but also a few that right off the bat I knew I wouldn't like so much. Hey first impressions are important! I would imagine they thought things about us too right? Anyways.. The Principal starts talking and by listening to him I felt a little more relaxed. Very little bit. First we started off with a prayer ( it's a Catholic school) and he introduced himself, told us a little bit about himself. He expressed his as a principal and as well as the teachers philosophy and expectations of us as parents and our children as students. Went over the rules. Man life in school is SO different then when I was in school. He talked about discipline and how each situation is dealt with on the level of which it should be. He talked about the rules of no body contact, verbal harassment, teasing, bullying. Something that I am very concerned about with Connor. Not the teasing, bullying, but the yelling and the pushing and things like that. He's 4 he's a boy and is he ever a BOY! He continued on about the no peanut rule due to about 6 anaphylaxis in the school. Not a big deal to me what so ever. If it were my child I'd be thankful there was the rule. He spoke about the bus and the bus drivers which was good to know, but doesn't apply to us. Since Connor will be " a walker" I was happy to find out that recess will be spent in their own area. They won't be on the playground or even in the area of "the big kids" I like that for a number of reasons. He spoke about how our school is very close with our parish and he also spoke of the school council and the C.P.T.A. ( which I'm not familiar with at all)

Then the teacher spoke, or rather read from a booklet that was handed out. She didn't offer much comfort in what she is like with the kids, she went over the rules. She seemed very soft spoken, shy, and after a long day, I'm sure she was pretty tired. When she was addressed with a question though, she responded well and I could tell that she knew our concerns and was on top of them all already. We handed in questionnaires along with a recent photo of our child so that she can put a face to a name before school starts. Which I thought was a wonderful idea. At the age of 4 and 5 someone very personable is much better then someone who acts like they don't even know you.

I was happy to learn that Connor will be in an afternoon class so school will start at 12:47pm and end at 3:34pm. Connor's not a morning person, but as this year goes by I'll be working hard to make sure that he ( and me) become morning persons because senior kindergarten is 8:55am to 11:57am! I'm usually not even awake before 9 let alone dressed! So I'm very happy he'll be in an afternoon class.

She didn't speak too much about the gradual admittance or whatever it's called. But assured us she'll be sending a letter out near the end of August. And the only other confusing thing was the fact that basically the whole building is under construction and pretty much it's going to be a totally different school when we go in September!

So that's all for now. I can go back to not thinking about it until then! I can work with Connor to help him the best I know how and pray for the best.

Thanks everyone for your comments... I'm going to need all the help I can get over the next few months and please bear with me as I freak out every so often :)

Meeting Day

My little boy is growing up. Here's a photo of him taken yesterday. Why? Well I wanted to show off his new haircut, and two. Well this picture was actually taken to be handed in to this place I'm going to tonight. It's a meeting for parents who come September their children will be going to this place everyday. Some of you already have children that go to this place everyday. I hope you'll remember the first day you brought your child to this place and remember your feelings. Also remember I am a much more crazy person then you. All day I've been thinking of going to this meeting and telling the teacher to forget it! I'm not going to send my baby there in the fall. I'm going to keep him home forever. I can teach him. I can learn things to teach him. But that wouldn't be fair would it. No I don't think so either. So It's going to take me a LONG while, but I'll eventually work out my feelings. Just please bear with me as I go through this HUGE milestone in my life. I'll let you all know how the meeting goes! *picture is clickable*

Monday Madness

Using the letters in the following word, describe that word. The word is...

W
..Warm Front - A front that moves in such a way that the warmer air replaces the colder air

E
..Equinox: Either of two occasions during the year when the apparent sun's path crosses the plane of the Earth's equator. Also the date when the sun is directly overhead at noon on the equator, occurring on or around both March 21 and September 22, the former is the vernal equinox and the latter the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the reverse on the Southern Hemisphere. On the date of the equinox (literally, meaning "equal nights") nights are of equal length ( just under 12 hours) all across the globe from pole to pole

A..
Advection: Refers to processes of transport and mixing of properties (energy, heat, moisture, etc.) of a fluid by mass motion of that fluid in the horizontal plane. In the atmosphere, the horizontal transfer of anything by the movement of air, i.e. wind. Common examples of advection include heat and moisture. Contrast with convection

T
...Troposphere: The layer of the atmosphere from the Earth's surface up to the tropopause, characterized by decreasing temperature with height, appreciable vertical wind motion and considerable water vapour content. Most of what we sense as weather (most clouds, rain, etc.) occurs in the troposphere

H...
Humidex: A discomfort index used in Canada derived to combine the temperature and humidity into one number and is intended to reflect perceived temperature.

E...
Evaporation fog Fog produced when sufficient water vapor is added to the air by evaporation. The two common types are steam fog, which forms when cold air moves over warm water, and frontal fog, which forms as warm raindrops evaporate in a cool air mass.

R...
Relative Humidity: The ratio of the actual water vapour content of a given mass of air to that it would hold at saturation, usually expressed as a percentage. Also, the ratio of the water vapour pressure to the its saturation vapour pressure.

Okay.. So I know what you're all thinking... Yeah right she really came up with these words on her own? Actually... If you knew me at all, you would know that yes... I did and I just went and got the definitions for them for you. I'm a real weather geek like that :)

Interview Time

I've been interviewed by Lesse :)

1. You've written a lot about Connor and Megan in your blog. Fast-forward 20+ years and they'll be around your age., and they find your online journal and start reading through the archives. What will they think? Probably that I'm a huge geek! If the online journal doesn't do it. The individual ones that I write in (by hand) will definatley do it. They hopefully will realize how much I love them, and how hard I've worked to guide them in their life and that I was only being hard on them for their own good though. :)

2. You meet a genie who gives you one wish. The condition is that you have to ask him for something for yourself. Not for your husband, not for Megan or Connor. If you were given one opportunity to have something for yourself, what would it be? To be skinny and never have to worry about weight again. It's a lot of work to lose weight. Two kids later and it's even harder then it was before.

3. When people ask us moms what we want our children to have, we always say we just want them to have "a bright future," or "happiness." What kind of "bright future" do you have pictured in your head for Connor and Megan? For Connor I wish that he finds a career that he not only enjoys doing, but that will keep a good challenge for him. Maybe a doctor? He does say he wants to be a doctor for animals.I hope that he finds someone that he loves and will make him happy and that he really "clicks" with. I hope that he maintains a great relationship with his sister and is a caring, thoughtful, respectful man. I hope that he has kids and spends as much time with them as he can, teach them how to do all the fun things he can do and help them to grow.
For Megan.. I wish mostly the same things. I wish she finds enough self respect to realize she can do and be anything she wants to be. Maybe a doctor? haha..I hope she finds willpower in all the areas that I seem to have failed, I hope she finds a career that is challenging yet interesting and she'll will enjoy what she does. I hope that she will become a mother and experience all the wonderful feelings I have. I hope she does what she can to help others and be caring and well cared for.

4. Let's just say that somewhere in the past you took a different path and you never met your husband and you don't have your two children. You did, however, discover blogging. You're 27 and single. What would your blog be about? Ahahahah! Probably how lonely and empty I feel? It would be pretty depressing! If I did take a different path.. I think I would have still ended up married with children. That's just who I am. I would however maybe have a job of some sort though. But raising my children is just what I want to be doing.

5. Any tips on how to win big in Bingo? :-) ahhaahahahhaha! Gotta play to win. Speaking of which.. I went this morning and won $570.00 :)

Here are my "superstitions" no matter how dumb you think they are.... All the lids of the dabbers must be facing up (so to collect the luck) . No purses or money of any kind on the table! After awhile take each lid of the dabber and pour the "luck" onto your books :) yes that is seriously what I do. I'm a dork I know!

Thanks Leese that was fun. :) I'll finish like you did and say that if anyone wishes to be interviewed just let me know and I'll be happy to ask you some questions. But if you don't.. that's okay too :)

I take it back!

The other day I was complaining that it was cloudy and dull and cool out. I take it all back. I want the cool air!! The clouds will do just fine thanks. It' now 30 Celsius which is 86F. That's not including the insane humidity! It's HOT. It's so hot and sunny that when outside if you're not in the water you're melting. I had the kids out in the shade and we were playing in the hose. I wish I had remembered to take the camera! Oh well. Right now Adam is cleaning off the fans that we took down from the attic, this is the first time we've needed them, and I'm pretty sure this is the hottest day we've had so far and it's just the beginning of June!

Hope you're all enjoying a sunny Sunday :)

Bubble Wrap!

Thanks to Juner for this link

I just couldn't stop clicking!!

It's the weekend!

Where's the sun. It's 18(c) 64(f) outside. It's June it should be sunny and warmer and inviting me to get outside and play, wash the car, have a picnic, go to the beach, go to the park, take Connor for a bike ride. Take the kids out in the wagon. But no. It's dull and damp and on and off rain. Not inviting at all.

I was over at Twist of Kate well I'm always over there, but I noticed her comment section has been booming! So then I found myself over at Michele's. And I thought it was such a neat site. From there I was instructed to visit Millennium Hippies, so I did and said hello.

I also found myself over at Queenie's and still loving her work.

Then I clicked over to Snowbabies, to see how Debbie and Paul are doing.

Now my daughter is crying so I've got to go put her down for a nap, feed my son some lunch and get dressed. I may go out and wash the car even though it is cloudy and yucky!
Have a good day!

Soon the week will be over RIGHT?

This week has been well. Been. I guess. It went by rather quickly which is fine by me. Yesterday I spent entirely to much time and money at bingo. Let's just say I've never done that before and I won't be doing it again. 9:30am to 1:00am! I know I know... I don't want to hear it thankyouverymuch! See I was winning, so I was staying with what I won. But the actual prize I was trying to win just wouldn't go. No excuses though.

My grandmother is home now ( if you're just tuning in... She had a hysterectomy) She's doing great! She walked right up the stairs like it was nothing! She's in a lot of pain as you can imagine. But she's doing good. I predict she's back to her normal self in no time.

Connor is still feeling stuffly. It's amazing how much mucus the human body creates. And he's learned to add one plus one and two plus two!

Megan is good. She got another tooth today.. ( that's 6 in total now) She's got the stufflies too. She went to the doctor today for her vaccination and cried and wiggled and is going to have quite the bruise. At just about 15 months old she now weighs 23.5 lbs. And I'm going to measure her soon too, cause I'm sure she grew an inch!

Also today I got an email from Tash over at Elephants and Dragonflies. I was about to send out a search party since I haven't heard from her. But she's doing fine and everything is going well.

That's all the news for now.. I'm off to see what tomorrow's show and tell is all about!
