We found this sign and giggled.
We spent time at different beaches and that was a lot of fun.

On Tuesday we got to spend a day with
Jenny! That was a lot of fun. She's the third blogger friend that I have met in real life, so maybe that is why I wasn't really nervous. But mostly I think it's because I have "known" her for such a long time since she is one of my first blogging buddies. It was so fun and yet strange at the same time to have "known" someone for so long, and to be only meeting them now. We had fun swimming and chatting

The Girlie had fun trying to convince Connor it was okay to swim in the lake and that the fish would not bite him.

Megan was determined to catch a fish in the net, but just couldn't do it

But The Boy was nice enough to catch one and show them

Jenny's kids are so great! And my kids just loved them. We got to meet Baxter and Megan again with her fear of dogs slowly warmed up to him.

She really loved Jenny though

Megan is quite the cuddle bug as Jenny soon found out :) I found it surreal to be in a place that I've only ever heard of and seen a few pictures of, from the days of Blackbird's Photo Friday's( I miss those by the way) and such. The only downfall to the whole day was while out by the lake, Megan had jumped up and knocked my grandmothers camera off of the table and it broke.

We spent the rest of that day looking for and buying a new camera. That was not very much fun. The kids were so tired from having so much fun with the Girlie and the Boy, but we managed to bribe them with Taco Bell and candies from Target :)
On Wednesday we were suppose to go on our whale watching cruise, but the weather didn't seem to want to co operate. So we switched it to Thursday and the weather was great! We saw A LOT of whales!

and even got to witness a humpback at feeding time.. which is truly amazing!

The kids had a great time enjoying the at least 7 foot waves while bouncing around on the boat.

We really had to hold on tight!
That night, Jenny drove out to pick me up (which is super nice since she lives quite a ways away!) and us girls got to go out for good eats and drinks! I had two yummy Mango Daiquiris!

We ended our vacation on Friday with another visit with Jenny and said our goodbyes. We had a great trip home. Which took us about 10 hours... the kids watched their DVD's again all the way home. With a few screaming matches here and there, but that's okay too. They were good for the most part and when we pulled into the drive way.... they didn't want to get out!

It was a wonderful trip. I hope the kids will remember it. I sure have a lot of pictures * I had such a hard time choosing which ones to use here*
Once home by the next day Adam had all our laundry finished, everything unpacked. We had our pictures developed, and our souvenirs delivered. Of course we needed to get groceries and cut the lawn and clean up the yard to get ready for my mom's 50th birthday party on Thursday. And Friday we leave again for a week to go camping! And can you believe how quickly the start of school is coming! Yikes!
