Project!!

Adam was so not happy with me when I decided to start this project. He didn't want to do it. But I went ahead and started digging. Of course I'm not able to shovel all the dirt onto the truck so he HAD to help me. But why wouldn't he want to help his cute wife wearing a tiny tube top??
What am I doing you ask? I'm removing the grass and some dirt about 5 or so inches down, then we're going to put gravel from the driveway to the shed (which you can't see but is right there to the left of the picture. ( not the white one, that's our neighbours who also helped me dig) The path to the gate will be patio stones, and then near the fence on the right... I want a little garden. This will allow my grandparents to put the trailer all the way back and leave more room in our driveway. I got a wicked sunburn that I'm paying for today too!

Fun times

7 martini's, 2 shots, and 2 smirnoff coolers later put all that together with dancing and laughing till it hurt. Take away sleep because I didn't get any = very fun times!

Shopping

I went shopping today and bought a new bathing suit. I also got 15% off! Yay for scratch and save! The hardest part about shopping now is that I have to remember to stop looking at all the sizes I USE to wear. I am not a 22 anymore I am not even a 20 anymore, and I CAN go shopping at regular shops and not just the plus size stores! Why that is so hard for me to remember?? I guess it's the same thing as every single night after I brush my teeth I still think about taking my birth control pill. I have been off the pill now for 7 months... and NO I'm not trying to get pregnant. Yet I still think I forgot my pill or I turn to go take it after I put my toothbrush down.

Well...

Here's the thing.. somebody pissed me off and that was that. I don't need to get into it. Even though that person can't see my blog now, I still don't think it would be right to blab about it.

Then after I went "private" I got to thinking... how many people are out there, that read my blog and don't comment or anything. So in a way I think it's nice that I've got this nice group of friends that I know are here. LOL Just don't piss me off okay :)

The only problem is, I'm not sure I had everyone's email address to invite them. So if you can think of anyone I'm missing... let me know. And email me if you're having problems commenting or viewing or anything else.

Anyways... Enough of that, lets get back to normal blogging :)

It's the long weekend.. Victoria Day.. While my back yard is too crowed with trees to let off fireworks, I've seen many over the weekend. And I am ever so grateful that the kids were able to sleep through all the noise. Last night it was midnight and my neighbours were setting off the very loud booming ones. I got annoyed at first, but since the kids didn't wake up, I guess it wasn't that bad.

Saturday we went to the movies. It's so sad that it costs a family of four $65.00 to go to see a freaking movie. Needless to say that will be the last time for a long time. Megan didn't even sit still. So next time she'll just have to stay home, until she gets a little older. We saw Speed Racer. It was okay I suppose not my favourite 'kids' movie.

Sunday we had cousins over for a visit. I love that our kids get along so great. Two 7 year olds, two 4 year olds and a 2 year old. It was a nice visit. We had bbq pork chops and roasted potatoes. which turned out great. If you haven't tried yet, place a bunch of mini white potatoes into a baking dish, devour them with sundried tomato salad dressing, and throw them in the oven covered for about 1/2 hour then take them out stir and pop them back in un covered until they are cooked. YUM!!

Today if the kids are good, we MIGHT bring them to see some fireworks. We'll see. Adam has to work tonight so it may not happen.

Mother's Day

Did everyone have a good Mother's Day? I sure did. Megan made me a cute little cup with real flowers in it and a sign from library, and Connor made me a giant clothes pin with a poem that he wrote attached to it at school. Adam made me breakfast, and then we went to visit his Mom, then he took me out for dinner to Applebee's, and got me this

To the point...

I am thankful that my friend called me at 9:30am this morning, because I was still in bed and Connor was very late for school

I don't think I've ever been late before!

So my coffee which brewed at 7:10am was now cold

I am very thankful for the microwave

Megan is gone camping with my grandparents, and it's incredible how different it is at home with just the 7 year old. WOW!

On Saturday Connor will go camping with my grandparents, so we'll see how much more different it is at home with just the four year old.

The lilacs are in full bloom, I might go cut some today and bring them in

I had a large Grilled Chicken Deluxe sub (chicken, bacon, lettuce, onions, mushrooms) for dinner last night... I must go on my walk today.. with or without my friend L.
