Mmm mmm mmm!

I was just about to write a post on what a shitty day I had, and how my husband is an asshat right now.... but my brother just brought me down a bowl of pasta he made. He's here cooking up a fancy schmancy dinner for my mom and her friends tomorrow. Stuffed chicken and some sort of pear shaped potatoes or something I don't know. The kid is a cooking genius. I so miss him living here with us and cooking us such yummy foods. Here's what he just brought me. I just died and went to heaven biting into that shrimp!

Here he is with all his chopping. I love watching a chef chop things up! Even though it scares the heck outta me!!!

To the right.. a good chef always remembers to wash his hands.. Good boy Ronnie :)

Uncle Ronnie and the kids... Megan's not sure why Uncle Ron is cooking in Gram's kitchen and Connor keeps asking questions and wanting some cheese.

Monkey see Monkey Do

First Blackbird did it. Then Jenny, so I thought, what the heck all the cool kids are doing it why not!

My day

You may just want to click on that x right now, cause this is going to be boooorrrring.

I am a very boring person. My day consisted of this. I woke up, had my coffee and played on the computer, I saw a few robins out in the backyard as well as an opossom.
Freaky looking creatures they are.Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.uswe have one living under our neighbours shed. This isn't the first time he's been sighted. Only weird thing is that they're not suppose to be around in JANUARY!!!

Then I had a shower and showered the kids. My Aunt came to visit. I put Megan down for a nap and I brought Connor to school. I talked to his teacher to see how he was doing and she told me he was doing fine. I talked with another mom for about 5 minutes and then came home. Sat around on the computer and waited for the time to come to pick up Connor.

Afterwards we all went to Wal Mart, looked around at all the stuff I would have liked to buy and ended up buying a picture frame for our family portrait, some toothpaste and some gumball refills for the kids machine. Had some McDonald's for dinner and had a good talk with Connor about why it is not polite to stare at people who are "different". Then we headed over to Adams mom and dads. They arrived shortly after us from there month long trip to Florida. It was very nice to see them. The kids sure did miss them a lot. Megan cried and cried cause she didn't want to go home.

The highlight of my night. Watching Connor and Megan play with a flashlight. Laughing so hard at Connor who was laughing so hard he literally peed his pants. He was laughing at his sister run after the light then when she'd get close to it he'd move it. Adam changed the bed sheets and did some laundry. We got the kids to bed then watched an episode of ER and then Adam went to work. My life is just so darn exciting isn't it?

As it turns out I don't even like the frame I got. It's too dark compared to the rest of the room. And I have a headache.

Good grief are you still here?

There's birthday girl today!

Saturday, January 28, 2006

Ewww Ewww EWWWWW!

I'm sitting here while the kids are nicely watching tv. Playing ever so nicely with their toys. When Megan comes running to me to show me she has something in her mouth. Like she always does. My first thought was she had taken a piece of gum out of the drawer, when she spit it out in my hand. It was brown I thought old chocolate? NO.. It was POOP!! Eww eww eww! I rushed her in the bathroom and brushed her teeth with way more toothpaste then ever and I washed her hands well. I then changed her bum. Many little turdy poops rolling around. EWWWWWW!!!

???Am I invisible???

Today was a day of errands. Adam Megan and I dropped Connor off at school. Then we went to the bank, then we went to another bank. Did I ever mention I hate banks? Well I do. Then after that we went to my Chiropractor appointment. Which wasn't fun. It hurt. First he did all the normal activator stuff on my spine. Then when I complained that the very last bone in my spine(you know the one in the crack of your butt)hurt. So he does this technique. He puts his thumb on that bone * while assuring me he doesn't get fresh* Something I wouldn't have even thought about if he didn't say anything. I mean you have your thumb practically up my butt, you get "fresh" and I'm gonna clobber ya! And he puts pressure on the area. It hurt like heck. After a few seconds I could feel parts of my spine sorta pulse and I could feel it loosening up. But it hurt, then afterwards I did feel a little better.

After that we went to visit my dad at his work and give him his resume I printed out for him. We did some shopping and then while we were cashing out, he comes and pays for it for us. Says it's my birthday present. Geez! If I would've known he was going to pay I would have bought the cute outfit I saw for Megan and the jogging suit I saw for myself, Adam would have bought the movies he was eyeing and I would have bought more bread! haha. But it was nice of him to pay.

After that we went to get Megan a small fry from McDonald's so that we can go grocery shopping. This is where all the fun begins. First you see I have a 22 month old in my cart who is struggling with us to stay in the cart. You can clearly see the bag of fries in her hand. Why do you think I give her these... for fun? No it's so she'll sit somewhat quietly in the cart while I get a few groceries. So I'm standing in the aisle looking for canned tomatoes. When this woman in her late 50's early 60's walks RIGHT in front of me and stops. I kinda stand there in shock. Then walk around her to get the can I wanted on the bottom shelf which was why I was standing a foot or two away from the shelves. Fine, I keep going.
I get to the deli to get some sandwich meat. I walk at a fair pace I mean I am in a hurry I have a toddler and we all know how frustrating shopping with one of those is. I stop to see the special board and as I go to get my ticket I mean a split second here people I paused. This other lady late 40's walks right infront of me and grabs a ticket. She pulls out number 19. The number on the wall says "now serving #17" so clearly they weren't using the number system anyway. There was only one other lady there. Then the girl behind the counter looks DIRECTLY at me, since this other pusher lady was off somewhere else and basically runs to step right infront of me and proceeds to tell the girl what she wants but stumbles on her words and looks at me like "oh did I butt in front of you"
My eye brows went up and again looked shocked. As I try and get Megan to eat her fries while I wait at the counter and I ask Adam if there's anything he wants she kinda keeps looking at me. She's having a hard time ordering as the deli girl made a point to mention and the woman tells her that she's so tired she can't think straight. Well sorry lady do I look like a woman who has had much sleep. I have bags under my eyes, my hair is a mess and I'm wearing my bummiest clothes I have. I have a 22 month old whining for bologna and a husband who is trying to talk to me while you keep stepping in front of me. Gah. So I order what I want from the other girl who helped me and that was that.

THEN!! oh yes there's more. We pick up Connor and the four of us head over to Walmart to pick up a few things that are just cheaper there. Diapers, ketchup, kleenex etc. I'm looking for some shampoo for Megan. The Johnson's baby body wash just isn't cutting it anymore. She's got long curly hair and it needs some proper shampoo. Of course it's on the bottom shelf. I'm bent over getting some and of course the two grabby kids are in the cart pulling things off the shelf. When I get the shampoo and I put it in the cart and I put back everything the kids pulled down I'm telling them not to touch and there's this woman standing in the middle of the aisle. **I could go on and on and tell you how much I hate how tight these aisles are but that's another rant for another day. ** I kindly say to this woman who is looking at the shelf "Excuse me" you know, so she'll move so I can get through without hitting her with my cart. She either didn't hear me or right out ignored me. Megan grabbed another bottle of shampoo off the shelf. I put it back and said excuse me again. Still the woman didn't budge. I stop and I just wish I had a picture of my face at that point. I said to Adam " What am I invisible" I yell at the kids louder cause they're pulling this and that off the shelf and I say excuse me again and I push my cart through. I don't know if I hit the woman or not but if I did it was her own fault. Then I stop to look at some huge colouring books in the main aisle and these people walking behind me had to stop. Oh it's okay for the whole entire world to stop and push and shove to look but it's not okay for me to stop for approximately 4 seconds to look at the books. And to think I actually felt bad that I was "holding up traffic"!!

I don't know what it is about people... Why they are in such a damn hurry all the time. Why they are so friggen impatient, why they must LITERALLY push you out of the way. Or be so rude to just step RIGHT infront of you and block your view of what you were looking at so they can look at the same thing. Why they couldn't wait the 2 seconds it would have taken me to pick up my can of tomatoes. But they really piss me off I tell ya!

Thursday Thirteen at 11:00pm

Can we still do Thursday Thirteen without a code?

1. Decided to blow dry my hair straight today, yesterday it was curly

2. On my way to bingo today we had to stop at a store to get some dabber ink. I look out my window and see this lady with her hand over her mouth and I heard her say "Oh my God" with a worried look on her face. I looked around but couldn't see anything. When I came out of the store I heard a lot of sirens. Turns out someone had crashed their car right into the Tim Hortons window! Little old white haired lady in the car when I saw it. How the HECK does that happen! I just don't get it.

3. Won $703.00 at bingo YAY! ( Had to split with my mom and Papa though)

4. We had pizza for dinner!

5. Connor helping his sister

6. marshmallow monster

7. This is the way I found Connor asleep tonight. I thought to myself Awwww how cute.Although he's reading an Easter book and will be so excited about the Easter Bunny coming now, and Easter isn't till April.

8. Do I see a pattern here? This was a few nights ago.

9. When they don't want to go to sleep they run to Nanny

10. My friend Cath is coming to visit soon *hopefully*. I miss her a lot

11. Connor has so far read 7 books for his MS read-a-thon. Maybe I should count the one he fell asleep to tonight?

12. Tomorrow is show and tell, payday, chiropractor day, grocery day, and um Friday

13. I'm running into that ~not knowing what to post about dilemma~. Any suggestions on what you want to hear about?

The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe

If you haven't seen this movie yet. I highly urge you to go. It doesn't matter if you think it's a childrens movie, it doesn't matter if you think it's all about religion. It doesn't matter what you think about it. How can you think anything until you see it. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

I cried
I jumped
I was frightened
I was happy
I was sad
I was amazed

Much better.. Yes?

Not many people enjoy getting their picture done for their license. I on the other hand was happy to. Wouldn't you have been? hahaa I was 18 I believe in the first picture. No I was not drunk, stoned or anything of the sort. It was just a bad picture.
A VERY bad picture. Which I have not touched. It really looks that awful. I am just shy of my 28th birthday in the second one. How many of you have bad drivers license pictures? Care to share?

Today

I woke up at 9am
Made coffee
Fed the kids yogurt for breakfast
Read the paper ( the party I voted for won)
I think I would have liked a Majority government
But whatever, I don't pay too close attention to all that stuff
It's sunny out but the forecast predicts snow
I'm ignoring the mess my children are making right now
I'm annoyed that Barney is on the tv
I'm happy though cause the kids aren't watching it.
I'm hoping to get a cheque in the mail today
I need to buy milk
I'm amazed at how much milk we go through
I need to wash the kitchen floor again
I hate feeding the kids rice for dinner
I need to talk to Connor's teacher to see if I can get another form for the MS read-a-thon
And ask her how Connor's been doing
I'm having a heck of a time keeping the kids quiet
Adam worked all night
I hate that he works nights, yet mostly it "works" for us
I keep thinking it's the end of the week
I see this post is going no where and that's because I'm bored and don't have much to say

Election Day!

"Are you going to vote?" "Just go,even if you don't know who to vote for"... "just mark that x". It's your civil duty. And every vote counts. These are the words our Priest said to us yesterday in church. Then we all stood up and sang Oh Canada.

I'm going to vote today.
I know who I'm voting for.
I'm going to remember that my ONE vote does count.

You should too!

6 + 9 = 15

There has been much excitement here today. We woke up bright and early at 8:30am got dressed and went to church. When we got home the kids played and Adam and I cleaned. I washed the floors, cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom. Infact this is the first time I've sat down since 10am! So as I was dusting and wiping down the fingerprints off the fish tank, what do I see???

9 new baby fish. I have never had baby fish before. So I didn't know what to do. I called PetSmart and they told me I could either leave them be if the other fish didn't seem to be bothering them. Or I could go and get them one of these floating seperation tank thingies. The fry are quite small so I decided to do that. Just so they wouldn't get sucked up the filter. The other fish didn't seem to be bothering them. I believe they are the black Molly's since they are black? And the mama fish seems to be quite happy to stay hidden in the rock we have in the tank. I've fed them, and see what happens.

It's another beautiful day again today. The sun is shining and the temperature is quite nice. It's so hard to believe that it's January. When it feels like it's April. I even killed an ant today while cleaning! There are robins everywhere, skunks, flies, bees. It's just very strange.

I survived!

I almost died yesterday. Well I thought and felt like I could die. I had one nasty stomache flu. . I was rudely awoken from my "night from hell" with Megan. Who was up between the hours of 12 and 4am puking non stop for 4 hours straight, so much so, that the poor child was turning blue! at 7am with my own puking fun, but oh no it did not stop there for me. I will spare you the gisgusting * a word Megan has learned* details, but my couch was my 'rest stop' for 17 hours (not counting the night before of a really queezy stomache) from my gazillion trips to the washroom. Four toilet paper rolls later and 8 tablets of pepto bismal, 5 glasses of water and one big mistake of a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I crawled into bed praying to survive the night. Which as you can see I did. I'm feeling better today. My head isn't going to fall off anymore I don't think, but my back ribs are very very sore. Feels like I have been coughing for eternity, but I have not. I've been up for about an hour and a half now with zero trips to the washroom. So I'm testing myself with a cup of coffee. My tummy is quiet so I'm guessing it's over. I survived.

Speaking of Surviving... EXACTLY 3 more weeks to go!!!

Monday Madness

1. Before I walk out the door, I always check to make sure I __have both kids_____.
2. I can't seem to catch up on my __bills_____.
3. The one surface in my house that always seems to get cluttered fast is _top of the fridge__.
4. If I sleep past __8am_, I feel that I've slept in too late.
5. No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to _get ahead (moneywise)__.
6. I hope to have my income taxes done by _the date it's suppose to be done by_.
7. This year I'd like to make more time for__ Adam and me_.

It's Monday. The week flew by and so did the weekend. For me anyway. Remember how I was telling you how nice and warm it was? Yeah I should have kept my mouth (or my typing) shut! Oh yeah. Saturday we got at least 4 inches of snow. And it's freaking freezing out. It went from a lovely 11C (51F) to -4C (24F) overnight. It's cold it's windy and I'm cranky. It's probably just pms, but I can't seem to warm up. One thing that made my day better though was a birthday card I got in the mail :) Thank you so much Beth and Steve, you guys really are awesome!

There's been things happing around here that I don't like very much. First, my baby girl has learned the word no oh too well and knows how to use it just the right way to make me mad. Connor's been good, only he's not been going to bed when he's suppose to. But really they haven't been all that bad. Also we heard yesterday that the on going "closing of the company" threats of the place of Adam's work, look to be pointing toward the yes again. This has been happening for the last 7 years. They're always threating to close. Although it's looking more and more like they will. Don't they know that I'm having trouble as it is to buy milk, and diapers, and food to feed my family. Don't they know that my car is on it's last legs and the end of debt is out of this universe let alone no where in sight? Of course they don't, and they also don't care. I don't know what we'll do. Adam will stay to the end and get any kind of severence he can from them, and then get anything else he can for a job. I'm going to pray that they stay open and him employed at least until Megan is in school, so that way I can get a job as well to help out. Right now it's just not possible with Adam's hours. And even if I could get daycare I'd be just putting my check to that. So there's no point really. Actually If anyone out there has $30,000 just laying around and you don't know what to do with it. That amount would just get us out of debt. I buy my $2.00 lottery ticket and say to the lottery fairys. I'm not greedy I don't need the whole million, thirty thousand will be fine. lol.

Hope everyones Monday is going okay.

Show & Tell (update Friday's Feast)

It's Friday already. I can't believe how fast this week has gone by. Connor has been back in school for a whole week and things have been going okay around here. I've been managing to get some more sleep then usual, by going to bed earlier. Megan's been waking up anywhere between 6:40am and 7:30am. And so me going to bed around 1am is just not good. I think it might have something to do with this unbelievable insanely warm weather we're having. I know I'm going to say this then BOOM it's going to get super cold, but it's January people and I live in Canada. And the temperature right now!! 9C that's right PLUS which is 48F. The other day it was 11C or 51F. Okay well I know some of you may thing 48 is freaking cold, but my usual temperature for January is like -25C or -13F okay. So this extremely mild winter we're having is quite unusual. I have never in my life experienced such a warm winter. I haven't even worn my winter coat since well before Christmas. That's just not normal. Yes we've had snow, yes we've had a few cold days of real winter. But for the most part it's been warm and rainy and sunshine. Yesterday I almost put on a pair of sandals! Okay I better stop or I'm really going to be sorry when the snow starts coming and doesn't stop until it's up to the roof!

So it's Show & Tell Friday and I don't really know what to post for my Favourite Room. See I've shown you all my rooms before, and I don't even like where I live let alone have a favourite place to be in it. I don't think you want to see my little blue bathroom again. That's my favourite decorated. So I thought since I'm such a faithful show and tell player, that if I bent the rules just this once nobody would mind ;)

So here are some of what my favourite rooms are.

This would be my favourite getaway room.
To wake up in the morning to the sound of the
waves crashing in instead of a child screaming
at me. This would where I'd much prefer to sit
and drink my coffee instead of infront of the
tv watching Miffy and friends.

This would be the perfect bedroom. Notice there is no crib in it??

Did you realize today is Friday the 13th? How many of you out there experienced bad luck on a day like today? I usually take this day and try and make it lucky. I have my Super7 ticket! Hey you just never know. Today was also payday. So I'm off to get some groceries to fill my very very empty fridge.

Happy Friday everyone!

He's HERE!!!

Tash had her baby!! Little Noah is here. Go check out the most adorable pictures and wish them well!

Oh and I hope I'm not too late with this, I've seen it everywhere... It's delurking week. Come on you know you can do it!

My gifts

Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day. My morning started out by me going to bingo with my grandfather. I wasn't planning on going, but Connor did not want me in the house while he baked my cake. It was a surprise I guess. When I got home I frosted the cake, and then we went to Wal Mart, mainly to kill time. Can you believe I walked out of there with only one purchase!! The complete fourth season of ER. After that we went to my chiropracter appointment. And then off to the Mandarin for some dinner. The kids were really good and ate well over their $2.00 worth of food. Adam and I too were stuffed to the top. My Mom, Brother, Sister-in law, Nanny and Papa all joined us. After we came back for cake. HA! who had room for cake after such a feast! Well I opened my presents. To the left (top) you see the beautiful flowers Adam got me. Then the wonderful scrapbooking supplies my brother and sil got me. (bottom) a 17" LCD monitor from both my mom and Adam!!! I was so completly surprised!!! My old monitor was only 3 years old and it had been "going" jumping and blurry and all that crap. then you see the card reader the kids got me. So now I'm not wasting more batteries while uploading all the pictures I use to share here with you :) haha. My wonderful talented brother installed it all for me last night. So that was my birthday. Now it's back to "normal" no more holidays no more birthdays for a couple of months. I need to get my house in order, and cleaned. I need to get the kids to settle down and back on a good routine. Speaking of which, we've been up for an hour now and it's time for breakfast. Have a great day everyone!

It's my birthday!! ~~28 years old~~However I don't believe I look anything like Elvis. You all are so funny with the comments about that. Even though my dad and I aren't exactly the father daughter type, we actually aren't oh nevermind don't get me started on that!

ANYWAY So far it's been a good day. I just got home from bingo with my Papa. We won $40.50 woohoo. But what just made my day even better!! this way too nice birthday card from our friend Kate. Isn't she the sweetest thing! Thank you so much Kate.. **Smooches**.

Tonight we're off to the Mandarin for a yummy feast! and Adam and Connor baked me a yummy chocolate cake!
Have a great day everyone!

Yesterday

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. He turned 49. When I was younger Or I should say when HE was younger all my friends said he looks like Elvis. Picture of Elvis & Pictures of my dad and you decide. Happy Birthday Dad!

Yesterday I wasn't feeling too well. I don't know why, I don't know what it was, but the room was spinning. Bad. I layed down, fell asleep woke up still spinning. Went back to bed still spinning.

That was yesterday.

Today... I still feel a bit off, but the spinning isn't as bad. If I stay still and relax. The kids had me up at 7:40am. I so didn't want to get up. They are watching tv right now, and every so often I have to yell at them to settle down. Where do kids get so much freaking energy? Gah!

Is it Monday yet?

Connor needs to go back to school. I know I know, you all remember the insanity I went through when sending him to school in September. But this past 2 weeks of him complaining he's bored and making such a mess of the house every five minutes is starting to get to me.

As you can see here, Connor is pretty bored and Megan has been spending a little too much time with her brother.

A Meme?

Blackbird did this on her site and I enjoy this kind of thing, so I thought I'd do it too :)

My name just like it says there in the title.

childhood memory. Waking up one night thinking I had lost my dolly. My mom helped me find her and then put me back in my bed. { strange that I remember that, I still wake up in the middle of the night thinking I've dropped something, or lost something, or something has happened} I'm weird I guess.

fondest memory...The days my babies were born

soundtrack...I don't have just one soundtrack.

retreat...Walking along the beach of an island out in the middle of the ocean in 1996

wildest dream...To one day be able to afford milk if we run out and not have to worry about having enough food in the house to last until payday.

proudest moment...watching my little guy up there on stage with the rest of his class doing the actions. I had never heard or seen one tidbit of the play until that moment.

biggest challenge...losing my weight and gaining trust and self confidence

alarm clock...Her name is Megan

perfect day...no yelling, no crying, no stress, not worrying about anything.

first job...a hairdresser

indulgence...chocolate

last purchase...three days worth of chiropractic care

favorite movie...The Goonies

inspiration... so many things

My life...pretty much sucks actually

My card is...maxed out, damn it

Show & Tell Friday

Blackbird has requested to see something we have crafted or something we would like to craft. Well besides witchcraft * I mean really, how cool would it be to clean your house by a twitch of your nose!* I have three projects on the go. Now she never put a time limit on this. She didn't specifically say they had to be recent crafts. So I'm guessing I'm safe. Click images to enlarge!

This is my bag of crafty things I'm "working" on

To your left you see what is suppose to be a baby blanket. I started knitting this when I was pregnant for Connor. It's white and purple. I didn't know if I was going to have a boy or a girl. I'm not a pro knitter or anything, so I am very slow but that is no excuse for it not to be finished. I also knitted on this when I was pregnant for our second baby whom is no longer with us. I think that was the last time I worked on it. So this 5 year old project sits in the bag and waits to be finished. I need a few more purple squares and then I was going to sew it together. You never know I may finish it someday! Maybe my grandchildren will appreciate it ahaha.

The "sweater" on the right that you see. Yes another unfinished project. Now please put down any beverage you may be drinking. Okay... okay. Well you see I wanted to knit Adam a sweater. I wanted to give it to him for his birthday. You may laugh at the funky design, but I kinda like it. However his birthday has come and gone MANY many times. I started this sweater 11 years ago!! ELEVEN! We will be celebrating our 13 years together this summer and our 7th wedding anniversary. Adam is now 32 years old maybe he'll get it for his 50th birthday? But you see the problem with this sweater is ( well besides the obvious that it is only the back of the sweater) that I was doing this on the Bond machine. Which nobody I know still has the machine. My Aunt who owns her own yarn store was helping me when she was pregnant with my cousin. She was actually in labour when I was working on this and I was sitting next to her watching her count the minutes in between contractions. Yeah I was 17 years old and more worried about my Aunt sitting there in labour then I was about getting the rows done in the sweater. haha. So another project unfinished. ** if you know anyone with a bond and knows how to use it... Maybe I can get them to finish it for me???** heehee.

Now this project isn't that old. Really. My mother in law bought me some scrap booking supplies ummm about 2 years ago. I have been planning on making each of the kids their own scrapbooks. So I have been collecting everything that Connor gives me makes at school etc. And I want to keep them and make a special book for him with. Only problem is... Them! They get in my way, they climb up and want to see, touch this and or that. Then when they are in bed, I'm too busy blogging or reading other peoples blogs. So the scrapbooks is on hold as well. Until I get enough supplies, and enough energy to do get it done.

Happy Friday everyone!

Thirteen Things about Jennifer

1…. I have not worn my coat winter since Christmas Eve!

2. I have also never experienced such a warm December/January

3. Last night we watch the movie " The 40 Year Old Virgin"...we laughed

4. I bought a Holiday Card/Mailing Making Kit, to make cards, address stickers that kind of thing and it only cost me $0.99!

5. Connor is having his very first ever "playdate" his best friend from school is coming over and I'm hoping her little sister will come too, so Megan has a friend to play with.

6. More days till my birthday!

7. I wish that some of my blogging buddies lived closer. I know they'd be great real friends.

8. My hip and leg have been really sore. I think it might have to do with the fact that I've been cleaning too much. I better stop that eh?

9. I'm so proud of Megan, she has been using the potty regularly!! Yesterday she surprised my mom with a #2 on the potty. My girl is a potty genius haha.

10. Tash is having her baby today. I got an email yesterday saying she was going to be induced. She's really nervous, but SOooooo excited! We should all keep her in our thoughts and prayers!

11. I had strange dreams about pregnant people last night. Maybe I was thinking of Tash when I fell asleep?

12. Sometimes I wish I could have more kids, but then mine drive me insane and then I am glad I'm not.

13. I had a tough time thinking of thirteen things today. Have a good day everyone!!

I found this at The Other Side

You're Watership Down

by Richard Adams

Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you're
actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their
assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they
build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You'd
be recognized as such if you weren't always talking about talking rabbits.

New Year News!

Happy New Year everyone. I'm hoping you all enjoyed yourself over the holidays? Good good. So it's a brand new year. I'm not sure what is to come of this year but I do have one HUGE exciting thing I'm almost certain is going to happen this year. It's so exciting I can't sit still. Okay you ready. About 4 or 5 days ago I was brushing my teeth. I look down and there is Megan standing beside me. She looks at me and says. "Pee" Then she gets the kiddie potty seat and puts it on the big potty. * I should mention here that I have only introduced the potty to her once. I just figured she was no where near ready, so I didn't bother* Anyways...I get her ready and set her on the seat. She looks at me. And PEES!!!!! Then she claps her hands and I clap my hands and cheering YAY YAY YAY!!!. Megan wipes and then gets off, flushes the potty. All WITHOUT me having to tell her what to do. Then she walks around clapping her hands saying YAY!! Okay that's not even the most exciting part. That's right there's more. New Years Eve. We're sitting around just talking and enjoying the company, and like all good parents we're not paying any attention to the kids. Megan comes up to us and says "PEE" I ask "do you have to go potty"? She says "yes" So I get up and take her hand. She leads me downstairs to the bathroom, puts the seat on and goes pee again. Gets up flushes and claps her hands yay!
New Years day. THREE times she asked and went potty! THREE!!! I have a genius here people. This little princess KNOWS the troubles I had with her brother to get potty trained. She can recall in utero all the yelling and scolding that was happening. She remembers in her tiny little newborn state the stress Mommy had training her brother. Who by the way Only completed potty training in February Remember!! Even though it does sadden me a little, that my babies are growing up, and even though I want another one so badly and know that I can't. I'm still so excited that I will not have to buy one more of those big green boxes, I will not have to use my couch as a change table any longer. We will be a diaper free family! My goal for 2006 is to be completely diaper free!

Wish me luck!!
